Bernhardt Shibui Furniture King Size Canopy Bed
With Matching Left and Right Supporting Pier Cabinets

This photograph was provided to me by the Bernhardt furniture manufacturer customer service department in 2017.  This photograph is a PDF file that was used in the Bernhard Flair Division Shibui furniture
catalog in the 1970’s-1986.

2 Etageres/Pier Cabinets set to left and right of Bed (W32 D14 H80 in each)
Light Bridge (W64 1/2 D14 1/4 H6 in)
Canopy Bed W68.5″ X D 88.5″ X 83″ Tall

This is a very rare, and all original solid mahogany high end canopy bed frame with matching left and right supporting pier cabinets.  The craftsmanship is exceptional.

Below the headboard shelf there is a substantial amount of storage capacity.

There is also a plugin electrical system to support lamp lighting that can
sit on this shelf. The three mirrors behind the headboard are still in perfect condition.

The overhead mahagony Light Bridge over the headboard and rear headboard mirrors supports a three lamp overhead lighting system.  The overhead mahogany Light Bridge is suspended between the left/right pier cabinets with L-shaped steel brackets. The overhead lighting system has an operational dimmer control.

It should be noted that the both mirrors pictured at the bed canopy were damaged during
a move. The mirrors at bed canopy were replaced by a fabric canopy that are pictured below.

This set that is pictured originally sold for $9,900 plus sales tax in 1986/1987.
